We are thrilled to extend a warm invitation to our upcoming event, Open Door, Open Hearts, honoring the experiences of women, both housed and unhoused. This special occasion, a collaboration of Degage Ministries and DisArt, celebrates connection, creativity, and community support.

The events are located at Heartside Landings, our newly established transitional housing building at 129 Jefferson Avenue. Each event provides an opportunity to show your solidarity with the women of the Open Door Women’s shelter.

Co-led by community members and Dégagé patrons, participants will have the chance to join in an informal art workshop where we will explore creativity, together, as a way to express and explore the diverse experiences of women.

Our partners at DisArt, a nonprofit dedicated to cultivating and celebrating disability culture, will help facilitate. They regularly volunteer at Dégagé, bringing the benefits of art to the women of the Open Door. To discover more about DisArt, please click here.

PLEASE NOTE: Tickets for each event is $25 to help pay for art supplies. Your generosity allows us to continue hosting these meaningful community projects.
