Dining Room
Seven days a week, our Dining Room offers low-cost and free meals as well as a safe alternative to the streets for those seeking to build friendships and be part of our community. To learn more, please click here.
Hygiene Facilities
Dégagé provides patrons with a place to take care of basic needs such as taking a shower, brushing their teeth, ironing clothes, receiving personal care items, storing items in a locker and receiving a hair cut. We are also the mailing address for many individuals. To learn more, please click here.
Resource Office
The Resource Office at Dégagé provides one-on-one support to individuals with varying needs such as completing forms, obtaining employment, securing funding for medical care, and information about rehabilitation and community resources. To learn more, please click here.
ID Office
The ID Office assists individuals through the process of obtaining legal State ID and/or birth certificates. These documents are necessary for those seeking employee and housing. To learn more, please click here.
Open Door
The Open Door is a safe haven for women in crisis. Women are provided with a place to sleep, access to showers and lockers and the opportunity to be part of support groups. The center averages 25-30 women per evening. To learn more, please click here.
Food Pantry
Partnering with ACCESS of West Michigan and Feeding America, Dégagé offers a consumer choice food pantry for our neighbors. To learn more, please click here.
Building Community
Dégagé finds great significance in providing opportunities for patrons to escape the monotony of everyday life on the street. Monthly, special events such as holiday parties, trips to the beach, fishing, a musical performance or a sporting event are offered. Local churches partner with us in providing these opportunities. Dégagé Dollars
The "Dégagé Dollars" program allows patrons to earn vouchers towards a meal or any service at Dégagé. Over 30 jobs are filled each day as patrons perform routine custodial jobs throughout the facility. To learn more, please click here.
The Housing Office
The Housing Office at Dégagé Ministries has staff and volunteers available to help individuals who are struggling with a variety of housing needs.
